Description

Lord Winklebottom Investigates: The Case of the Expired Axolotl is a point and click narrative adventure game for PC, console and tablets, set in an alternative 1920s where humans don’t exist.

You play as Lord Winklebottom, the gentleman giraffe, aided by his hippo companion Dr Reginald Frumple. Invited to an isolated island, only to find your host, Admiral Gilfrey is dead! Suspecting foul play, you will search for clues, solve puzzles and interrogate suspects in order to solve the crime!

The game is still under development, with a current expected release window of Q4 2019.

History

The game is being developed by a one-woman "studio" consisting of Charlotte Sutherland. Lord Winklebottom Investigates is my first big project after releasing a small mobile game.

I've previously worked on AAA games (Little Big Planet 3, SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed, Kinect Sports 2, LEGO Starwars: The Complete Saga, LEGO Batman, LEGO Indiana Jones) at companies such as Sumo Digital, Rare, EA and Tt Games, but am now working solo making my own more unusual and quirky games.
